When you register for an asynchronous class at OU, you get access to the entirety of the course and can follow the lessons and modules in any order you want, except for the legal classes at the beginning of our Business and Horticulture Certification Programs
Each module contains carefully curated knowledge about the subject matter along with videos and images to illustrate the content of the class. At the end of every module, there is a knowledge assessment quiz to ensure your comprehension of the material.
You retain access to the content of each course for a year from the date you first start the course, even if you complete and submit it for certification.
Our Self-paced offerings include our certification programs, Horticulture, Budtending, Business of Cannabis, and Commercial Extraction and Manufacturing as well as our stand-alone, non-certificate courses.
Students can access the online course materials through a Learning Management System (the student portal) with Mastery Exercises, Quizzes, and Exams. We also provide access to the recordings of the live lectures for the semester programs.
You have access to the content of each course for an entire year from the date of enrollment. You will be able to retake your quizzes and exams to earn a passing grade before you submit the course for certification.
After the course is submitted, you will not be able to retake the examinations, but you will still have access to the materials for a year.
Note: Programs expire 365 days from the start day. If you purchase the program and don't start it, the countdown to the program's expiration date will not start until you officially begin the class.
